D: State-Owned Enterprises Restructuring Pilot Project: (Food Processing)


The project aims to lay down the necessary institutional foundations to restructure public sector enterprises within the food processing industry to be more compatible with the social market economy. This was done through analysing the situation of these SOEs and designing necessary measures for reorganisation, corporatisation and liquidation, together with developing the relevant guides. This was also achieved through submitting proposals on improving their performance in marketing and financial areas as well as proposing an appropriate regulatory framework to support this process.
